Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic People/HR leadership and expert guidance to senior executives and leaders within our Sales organization, Field operations, and Remarketing Centers.
  • Ensure comprehensive labor regulations compliance across multi-state operations, particularly relevant to large, distributed workforces.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of People Business Partners, effectively managing distributed teams across multiple states.
  • Act as a dedicated partner with Sales leaders and supporting site and field-based hourly/non-exempt workforces, understanding their unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Develop, implement, and continually refine HR strategy that is seamlessly integrated with and supports the overarching business objectives of Sales, Field, and Remarketing Centers.
  • Drive proactive talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, talent acquisition strategies, and performance management tailored to these operational groups.
  • Design and implement impactful leadership development programs focused on empowering sales managers, field leaders, and site managers.
  • Oversee and provide strategic direction for employee relations matters specific to sales and field-based operations, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate closely with Total Rewards to ensure competitive and equitable compensation and benefits strategies for hourly and exempt roles.
  • Utilize data-driven HR metrics/analytics to inform decisions, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of People programs within these functions.
  • Advise on and optimize organizational structure to enhance efficiency and scalability for Sales, Field, and Remarketing teams.
  • Lead M&A due diligence specifically for People Business Partner workstreams related to Sales, Field, and Remarketing Centers, ensuring smooth integrations.
  • Provide expert coaching to managers and leaders, enhancing their capabilities in people leadership, performance management, and team development.
  • Spearhead change management initiatives, guiding these critical operational teams through periods of transformation with clear communication and support.
  • Stay abreast of and ensure rigorous adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory compliance standards affecting sales, field, and hourly workforces.
  • Champion effective communication strategies across all levels of the organization, particularly within geographically dispersed teams.
  • Cultivate strong interpersonal skills and build impactful, trusted relationships with all stakeholders, from frontline staff to executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Experience Level: Senior-Level (7+ years of experience in People Business Partner roles, with 5+ years in leadership roles overseeing People Business Partners/HR Teams in a multi-state environment; experience working with Sales leaders and supporting site and field-based hourly/non-exempt workforces).
  • Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational and Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or similar applicable discipline. SHRM-SCP and/or HRCI SPHR Certification preferred.
  • Required Skills:
    • Extensive and progressive People/HR leadership experience.
    • Deep expertise in labor regulations compliance across diverse states.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing distributed teams across multiple states.
    • Direct experience partnering with Sales leaders and effectively supporting site and field-based hourly/non-exempt workforces.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement impactful HR strategy.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of talent management best practices.
    • Strong background in leadership development and coaching.
    • Expert-level proficiency in employee relations.
    • Solid understanding of total rewards principles and practices.
    • Skilled in data-driven HR metrics/analytics for strategic decision-making.
    • Experience with organizational structure optimization.
    • Direct experience with M&A due diligence specifically related to People Business Partner workstreams.
    • Exceptional coaching managers capabilities.

Salary and Benefits

This Full-time Senior Director, People Business Partners position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $192,000 – $220,000 yearly.
