Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and empower the benefits team, fostering continuous learning and driving a customer-first service delivery approach.
  • Take primary responsibility for managing retirement plans, overseeing compliance, testing, audits, vendor relationships, and associate education.
  • Drive operational excellence by aligning benefit processes with regulatory standards and enterprise priorities.
  • Provide critical support to associates, serving as the go-to resource for escalated benefit inquiries and resolving complex issues.
  • Champion effective communication, collaborating closely with vendors, HR partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of benefit programs.
  • Apply a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Possess 3–5 years of experience in benefits administration, including deep expertise with retirement plans.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of ERISA and other federal compliance standards.
  • Utilize exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Leverage experience managing or coaching teams (highly preferred).

Qualifications

  • Experience Level: Mid-Level (3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, with management/coaching experience preferred).
  • Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Required Skills:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
    • 3–5 years of experience in benefits administration, including deep expertise with retirement plans.
    • Knowledge of ERISA and other federal compliance standards.
    • Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    • Experience managing or coaching teams (highly preferred).
    • Proven ability to lead and empower the benefits team, fostering continuous learning, and driving customer-first service delivery.
