Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide expert People/HR leadership and strategic guidance to senior executives and leaders across Corporate, Executive, and Product and Technology functions.
  • Ensure comprehensive labor regulations compliance across multi-state and multi-national operations.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of People Business Partners, effectively managing distributed teams across various locations and potentially international regions.
  • Develop, implement, and continually refine HR strategy that aligns with and supports overall business goals and growth initiatives.
  • Drive proactive talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, and performance management strategies.
  • Design and implement impactful leadership development programs that cultivate strong leaders and a robust talent pipeline.
  • Oversee and provide strategic direction for employee relations matters, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate closely with Total Rewards to ensure competitive and equitable compensation and benefits strategies.
  • Utilize data-driven HR metrics/analytics to inform decisions, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of People programs.
  • Advise on and optimize organizational structure, ensuring agility and efficiency in support of business objectives.
  • Lead M&A due diligence specifically for People Business Partner workstreams, ensuring seamless integration of acquired talent.
  • Provide expert coaching to managers and leaders, enhancing their capabilities in people leadership and development.
  • Spearhead change management initiatives, guiding the organization through transformation with clear communication and support.
  • Stay abreast of and ensure rigorous adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Champion effective communication strategies across all levels of the organization.
  • Cultivate strong interpersonal skills and build impactful, trusted relationships with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience Level: Senior-Level (7+ years of experience in People Business Partner roles, with 5+ years in leadership roles overseeing People Business Partners/HR Teams in a multi-state environment; experience managing multi-national teams).
  • Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational and Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or similar applicable discipline. SHRM-SCP and/or HRCI SPHR Certification preferred.
  • Required Skills:
    • Extensive and progressive People/HR leadership experience.
    • Deep expertise in labor regulations compliance across diverse jurisdictions.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing distributed teams (multi-state and multi-national).
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement impactful HR strategy.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of talent management best practices.
    • Strong background in leadership development and coaching.
    • Expert-level proficiency in employee relations.
    • Solid understanding of total rewards principles and practices.
    • Skilled in data-driven HR metrics/analytics for strategic decision-making.
    • Experience with organizational structure optimization.
    • Direct experience with M&A due diligence specifically related to People Business Partner workstreams.
    • Exceptional coaching managers capabilities.
    • Strong command of change management methodologies.
    • In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance within HR.
    • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to build strong, trusted relationships at all organizational levels.

Salary and Benefits

This Full-time Senior Director, People Business Partners position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $192,000 – $220,000 yearly.
