Duties and Responsibilities

  • Track and troubleshoot ongoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of critical semiconductor equipment and components.
  • Support the daily management of freight forwarders and integrators, serving as a key escalation point for complex issues.
  • Process and respond to inquiries efficiently via ticketing tools and emails, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Drive key performance indicators (KPIs), implement process improvements, seek continuous enhancements, and lead special projects to optimize freight operations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to standard shipping processes and correct TMS usage (Transportation Management Systems).
  • Maintain data completeness and accuracy in SAP and TMS for all freight-related activities.
  • Conduct thorough freight bill auditing and cost control, utilizing rate cards and comparing them with actual freight bills to identify discrepancies.
  • Investigate freight bills that do not follow established approval flows, ensuring financial compliance.
  • Provide accurate rate quotes for cost analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction in every interaction.
  • Complete assignments with exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy, showcasing excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Prove the ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with constantly changing workloads and deadlines.
  • Be result-driven, consistently demonstrating ownership and accountability for outcomes.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks and drive improvements within freight processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience Level: Mid-Level to Senior-Level (3-5 years with Bachelor’s, or 10+ years with High School Diploma).
  • Education Requirement: High School Diploma with minimum 10 years of relevant work experience OR Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, operational management and 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Required Skills:
    • High School Diploma with minimum 10 years of relevant work experience OR Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, operational management and 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
    • Experience in a challenging, fast-paced environment coordinating with different stakeholders and layers.
    • Proven work experience in cross-functional teams.
    • Intermediate competencies in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Knowledge of logistics management systems (TMS), their set-up and application (SAP ECC preferred).
    • Knowledge of customs import and export regulations (a plus).
    • Proficient in tracking and troubleshooting of ongoing shipments.
    • Ability to support daily management of freight forwarders and integrators (escalation point).
    • Skilled in processing and responding to inquiries via ticketing tool and emails.
