As an Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring day-to-day restaurant operations run smoothly. You’ll be directly involved in staff supervision, shift management, customer service, inventory oversight, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities

Support the General Manager with the daily execution of restaurant operations

Manage restaurant shifts, including opening, closing, and shift changes

Supervise and develop hourly team members to ensure performance excellence

Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to maintain satisfaction

Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health standards

Assist with inventory control and equipment upkeep

Review and support payroll processes, scheduling, and labor control

Use basic software tools (Excel, POS systems) for administrative reporting

Help execute local marketing initiatives and contribute to business growth

Maintain a clean, efficient, and safe work environment for staff and guests
Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a restaurant or equivalent internal experience

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Business or Hospitality preferred

Solid understanding of shift management and team supervision

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Basic computer proficiency (Excel preferred)

Familiarity with payroll systems, inventory tracking, and P&L statements

Organized, reliable, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic setting

A hands-on, guest-first approach to management and service delivery

Working Conditions
This is an onsite, full-time position based at our Deerfield Beach, FL location. Assistant Managers must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You’ll be working with digital restaurant tools such as POS systems, Excel, and scheduling software in a fast-paced kitchen and front-of-house environment.
