DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Research mathematical pricing models used by the rates options derivatives trading desks and the development of those pricing models and associated risk engine in C++ and Python. Research pricing, risk, and volatility models for non-linear and exotic financial products in rates. Perform statistical analysis of trading data to infer trading signals, debug pricing and risk models, and assist in upgrading as needed. Develop new analytics in proprietary platforms based on Python and C++ and design software patterns to assert compatibility between different platforms and libraries. Review overnight processes owned by the group and amend any technical issues. Monitor traders’ applications developed by the group and develop further enhancements on the analytics put in place based on traders’ comments and requests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field of study

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Experience in the skills may be gained through professional work experience, graduate coursework, or internships. Requires experience in the following: C++; Python; Optimization algorithms; Time Series Analysis; Software for computing risk metric of large numbers of derivatives; Modeling of complex interest rates derivatives; Numerical method for complex derivatives, such as American Monte Carlo Algorithm and implementation of PDE; Probability theory; Stochastic processes; Data analytics; Quantitative risk modelling.

Full-Time. Salary:  $205,000.00-$275,000.00 per year.
