Position : Manager, Product Management - Sanctions Platform

 

About the Role

If you’re looking to be a part of a dynamic, highly-analytical team and an opportunity to hone your product management skills, look no further. As a PM for Sanctions platform you will be responsible for building state of the art products/platforms that allows Gopay to fight fraud and make our products safe and trustworthy for our customers. You will be working with seasoned risk leaders, data scientists, and business stakeholders in driving the Ml driven new age risk mitigation solutions for payments business. Your efforts will help position Gopay as the most trusted payment method for customers and merchant partners.

What You Will Do

  • Create, own, and execute a product roadmap aligned with the long term product strategy
  • Influence peers, stakeholders, and key executives through the use of data, logic, and user empathy
  • Own key results for your problem area, customer satisfaction, usability, on-time releases, and other critical metrics
  • Develop trusted relationships with engineering leaders, business leaders, and stakeholders to drive optimized product delivery
  • Convey important messages in a clear and compelling manner to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Manage prioritization,  product definition, execution, roll out and impact analysis for each of the initiatives that are owned by your problem area

What You Will Need

  • At least 6 years of product management experience in delivering highly successful and innovative consumer Internet/platform products with high scale and impact
  • Ability to break down complex problems, identify use cases and solutions while working in an unstructured environment
  • Nuanced understanding of data, design, research, software engineering, business processes, and partner effectively with those teams
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements and features
  • Understanding/Exposure working with Machine learning products and data scientists would be a big plus
  • Strong communication skills to weave strategy, insights, priorities and plans forward into a structured and organized storyline at all levels of management
  • Sharp attention to detail, with the ability to insist on high standards and manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision

About the Team

The Payments team in Gojek spans both customer payments (GoPay e-money and wallet) and merchant payments (online payments via Midtrans and offline payments via Spots).  GoPay is South East Asia’s fastest-growing consumer payments and financial services app and serves tens of millions of registered users on a variety of payment avenues, providing the most convenient payment methods in South East Asia. Midtrans is one of the largest payment gateways in Indonesia. Spots is the largest offline network for payments in Indonesia.

We have helped simplify payments for over 750,000 merchant partners, over  1,000,000 driver partners, and millions of customers - from the bike drivers down your street to your favorite Gorengan and Martabak stalls. But, the growth of Payments does not stop here. We are hungry for more. We intend to become the largest payment and financial services group in Southeast Asia.
