Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform thorough, accurate, and consistent inspections of vehicles at various dealership locations or other designated sites.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of automobile body, paint, and mechanical repair to accurately identify and report existing or potential issues.
- Utilize proprietary system capabilities, relevant software packages, and web-based applications to meticulously document vehicle conditions, including detailed notes, high-quality photographs, and videos.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with dealership staff and clients.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving aptitude to meet challenges with resourcefulness and innovative approaches encountered during inspections.
- Successfully work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Maintain excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with supervisors and internal teams, with the ability to understand customer needs and expectations.
- Drive vehicles with both manual & automatic transmission safely and proficiently for inspection and movement purposes.
- Exhibit vision abilities required to properly identify small defects around and underneath vehicles, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and inspection standards to ensure consistent and reliable reporting.
- Ensure all inspection reports are submitted promptly and accurately through the digital platform.
Qualifications

Working Conditions
This is a Full-time, field-based position operating out of Newport News, VA, United States. A significant portion of your time will be spent on the road, traveling to various dealership lots or other designated locations to perform vehicle inspections. You will utilize your personal vehicle for transportation. The role requires the ability to work outside in the elements for extended periods of time, adapting to various weather conditions. You’ll be regularly using mobile devices and proprietary software to document vehicle conditions, capture media, and submit reports. While you will often work independently, you will also be part of a larger team, collaborating remotely.
