Duties and Responsibilities

  • Take a hands-on role in assembling and qualifying machines on-site according to strict procedures.
  • Expertly build, install, and align components to construct a complete lithography machine.
  • Lead the installation of ASML equipment at customer locations, including new features, pilot, and proto systems.
  • Analyze applicability, accuracy, and adherence to design specifications for all installations and upgrades.
  • Recommend design changes or material substitutions to improve product performance or installation efficiency.
  • Evaluate and diagnose complex problems with equipment, making appropriate and timely repairs.
  • Collaborate effectively with co-workers and customers to isolate and solve intricate technical problems.
  • Professionally answer customer questions and provide technical assistance as needed.
  • Offer support and assistance to less experienced personnel, contributing to team growth.
  • Perform complex adjustments, upgrades, diagnosing, and solving problems with limited support.
  • Prepare clear and concise written technical reports documenting activities and findings.
  • Perform administrative and coordination duties, including detailed pass-downs, work orders, field service reports, system problem reports, and monthly reports.
  • Maintain installation plans and monitor project progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Utilize mechanical aptitude and knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, semiconductor processes, and relevant software in daily tasks.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to expand capability in multiple technical competencies, including mechanical installs and system integration.
  • Observe and respond effectively to people and situations, interacting professionally with others.
  • Possess the ability to learn and apply new information or skills quickly.
  • Exhibit open, clear, concise, and professional communication; ability to read and interpret data, information, and documents.

Qualifications

  • Experience Level: Mid-Level (Minimum 2+ years’ experience preferred in relevant areas).
  • Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience.
  • Required Skills:
    • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience.
    • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in the semiconductor industry (preferred).
    • Minimum 2+ years’ Field Service Engineer work experience (preferred).
    • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in using computer applications, including data analysis tools, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (preferred).
    • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, vacuum system, or plasma (preferred).
    • Ability to observe and respond to people and situations, interact with others.
    • Ability to learn and apply new information or skills.
    • Demonstrates open, clear, concise, and professional communication; ability to read and interpret data, information, and documents.
    • Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction.
