Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive the full sales cycle to build new business by identifying, prospecting, and onboarding new dealerships to the ACV Auctions platform.
  • Provide exceptional account servicing, maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing dealers and dealer groups through regular in-person and over the phone interactions.
  • Leverage comprehensive auction knowledge (strongly preferred) to educate dealers on the benefits and mechanics of the ACV digital marketplace.
  • Apply a deep understanding of the retail/wholesale marketplace to effectively consult with dealer partners.
  • Utilize a CRM (preferably Salesforce) for sales pipeline management, accurately tracking all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress.
  • Consistently meet and exceed defined sales goals, contributing directly to the company’s revenue growth.
  • Build robust relationship-building skills with dealers and dealer groups, fostering loyalty and trust.
  • Engage in strategic conversations with dealers, leveraging your understanding of internal and external networking to expand ACV’s reach.
  • Proactively manage your territory, adapting to shifting priorities and market changes.
  • Provide comprehensive product education to dealers, ensuring they are proficient in using all ACV platform features.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive support and problem-solving.
  • Safely travel daily on the road to dealerships within your assigned territory.
  • Travel for internal meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and use of a validly registered and insured motor vehicle for all work-related travel.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Qualifications

  • Experience Level: Mid-Level to Senior-Level (5+ years of relevant experience).
  • Education Requirement: Not specified, but the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English is required.
  • Required Skills:
    • 5+ years of dealership experience (used or new car business).
    • Experience selling into dealerships and auction knowledge (strongly preferred).
    • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
    • Ability to travel daily on the road to dealerships.
    • Comprehensive understanding of the retail/wholesale marketplace.

Salary and Benefits
