Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive sales into dealerships by effectively promoting and onboarding new dealer partners onto the ACV Auctions platform.
- Apply extensive dealership experience (5+ years in used or new car sales) to understand customer needs and challenges.
- Leverage comprehensive auction knowledge to demonstrate the unique value proposition of ACV’s digital marketplace.
- Develop and execute robust strategic planning for territory growth and market penetration.
- Focus intensely on building new business relationships and expanding ACV’s dealer network.
- Provide exceptional account servicing, maintaining strong relationships with existing dealer partners through both in-person and phone interactions.
- Utilize Salesforce for reporting/tracking all sales activities, pipeline management, and customer interactions.
- Consistently work towards and exceed assigned sales goals, contributing directly to revenue growth.
- Foster strong, lasting relationship building with dealers/dealer groups by becoming a trusted advisor.
- Conduct thorough competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and refine sales strategies.
- Proactively assess customer inventory needs and position ACV solutions to meet those demands.
- Provide comprehensive product education to dealers, ensuring full understanding and utilization of the ACV platform.
- Engage in accurate forecasting of sales volumes and market trends within the territory.
- Employ consultative selling techniques to provide tailored solutions that address specific dealer challenges.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive support and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize local campaigns and outreach efforts.
- Maintain strict financial accountability for territory performance and expenses.
- Demonstrate strong adaptability to market changes, evolving product features, and customer needs.
- Perform day-to-day management of Vehicle Condition Inspectors and KPIs within the territory, ensuring operational excellence.
- Exhibit the ability to travel daily within the assigned territory to meet with dealer partners.
Qualifications
- Experience Level: Mid to Senior-Level (5+ years of dealership experience).
- Education Requirement: Not specified, but ability to read, write, speak, and understand English is required.

Working Conditions
This is a Full-time, field-based position operating out of the Denver, CO, United States territory. A significant portion of your time will involve daily travel within the assigned territory to meet with dealer partners, build relationships, and manage operations. You will be utilizing your personal vehicle for transportation (with potential reimbursement). The role requires a high degree of autonomy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage a busy schedule effectively.
