Pollo Tropical, a beloved restaurant brand known for its vibrant Caribbean-inspired cuisine, is looking for an enthusiastic Team Leader (Shift/Team Leader in Training) to join our teams in Fort Myers and Naples, FL. Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Support and lead hourly team members by providing guidance, training, and motivation.

Operate cash registers and perform basic math tasks accurately during shifts.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and sanitation procedures.

Deliver excellent customer service, promptly addressing guest questions and concerns.

Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Communicate effectively with team members and management to promote teamwork and operational success.

Monitor inventory and assist with stock control as needed.

Participate in opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.
Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of experience working in a restaurant or similar customer service environment.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and food safety standards.

Demonstrated leadership or supervisory potential with the ability to train and mentor staff.

Proficiency in operating cash registers and basic math skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
