As a Team Leader in Training, you’ll gain hands-on experience in managing shifts, supporting staff, and ensuring a smooth restaurant operation all while learning the ropes of our leadership standards and expectations. Duties and Responsibilities

Support and assist shift operations under the supervision of management.

Lead team members by example and provide coaching during daily tasks.

Deliver high-quality customer service and handle guest concerns or conflicts promptly and professionally.

Follow company procedures for food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.

Operate cash registers, manage transactions, and perform basic math accurately.

Read and follow prep sheets, instructions, and safety protocols.

Help train new team members and contribute to a positive team culture.

Handle kitchen or service equipment safely and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Prepare for advancement by successfully completing the Team Leader training and certification program.
Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of experience in a restaurant or food service role required.

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Strong leadership and supervision skills with a team-oriented mindset.

Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.

Familiarity with food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Capable of operating a cash register and performing basic math functions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to read and follow written instructions and operational procedures.

Must be able to handle restaurant equipment safely and adhere to safety standards.

Willingness to complete Team Leader training and pass certification requirements.

Working Conditions
This position is onsite and part-time, based at our Miami, FL location. Team Leaders in Training must be available for various shifts, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role involves standing for extended periods, working in hot kitchen environments, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Team members work closely with kitchen equipment, cash registers, and point-of-sale systems in a fast-paced, team-focused setting.
