Duties and Responsibilities

Provide dedicated support to children and adolescents with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Demonstrate a proactive and adaptable attitude, using your own initiative to support both pupils and the class teacher.

Show resilience and confidence when working with challenging behavior (desirable), maintaining a calm and supportive presence.

Apply your experience with Special Needs such as Autism and ADHD to provide tailored assistance.

Support each individual’s well-being and personal development, fostering a nurturing environment where they can thrive.

Work with enthusiasm and passion for working with children with complex needs.

Maintain an open-minded attitude and be willing to take on new challenges.

Collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Assist with the planning and delivery of lessons and activities, adapting them to meet the specific needs of students.

Qualifications
Experience Level: Experience is not essential but desired. The role is a good platform for graduates in relevant fields.
Education Requirement: A Level 3 qualification or higher is required. A degree in Psychology, Counselling, or Criminology is considered most desirable.

Salary and Benefits
This permanent, full-time role offers a monthly salary ranging from £1,800 – £1,900, depending on experience.
