Duties and Responsibilities

Provide expert consultation on federal, state, and local tax regulations and ensure accurate implementation for both corporate and individual clients.

Assist clients in planning and executing tax strategies to reduce liabilities and support financial goals.

Conduct thorough reviews of financial records, tax filings, and compliance documentation.

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage tax-related projects efficiently.

Utilize industry-standard tax software and tools, including Google Suite, to analyze data and generate reports.

Represent clients in audit proceedings or during regulatory reviews, offering guidance and preparing necessary documentation.

Stay current on tax legislation changes and communicate their impact to clients and team members.

Support cross-functional initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of tax advisory processes.

Ensure all consulting work meets professional and ethical standards, while delivering exceptional client service.

Maintain accurate and organized records of all tax-related correspondence and deliverables.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

CPA certification or Tax Attorney license strongly preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a mid- to senior-level tax consulting role.

Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local tax codes and compliance standards.

Proficiency in tax software and tools, as well as comfort with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.).

Demonstrated expertise in tax planning, audits, and regulatory procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly.

Effective project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks under deadlines.

Working Conditions
This is a full-time, onsite role based in Florida, with standard working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
