As a Social Media Intern, you’ll be instrumental in filming, editing, and posting engaging short-form video content, all while staying ahead of the curve on meme culture and TikTok trends. You’ll bring a proven track record of achieving 1M+ views on social media, ready to show us what worked (and what didn’t!). Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leverage a proven track record of achieving 1M+ views more than once on social media content, with receipts and insights on what worked and what didn’t.
  • Be “extremely online”, constantly immersed in current trends and online culture.
  • Apply a self-starting, low-ego attitude, focused on creating innovative content collaboratively with the team.
  • Be fluent in meme culture, TikTok trends, and possess a deep understanding of social media algorithms.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in filming and editing short-form video content quickly using a phone, the Captions app, and other relevant tools.
  • Be comfortable both being on camera or behind the camera, adapting to content needs.
  • Possess the ability to sniff out trends before they peak and proactively initiate new trends that capture attention.
  • Film, edit, and post engaging short-form videos across various social platforms.
  • Actively engage with comments and know how to “stir the pot” responsibly (or not!).
  • Be a master of meming responsibly (or not), depending on the context and brand voice.

Qualifications

  • Experience Level: Intern (but requires demonstrable success in viral content creation, setting a high bar for an intern role).
  • Education Requirement: Relevant experience is valued above formal degrees or GPA.
  • Required Skills:
    • “Extremely online” individual.
