Engage, part of Marston Holdings Limited, is a leading provider of technology-driven field services. We are seeking a certified and experienced Smart Dual Fuel Metering Technician to join our team.
This field-based role spans the GL, PL, TA, and TQ postcode regions, working on residential and commercial properties. Your primary responsibilities will include the installation, maintenance, and emergency work on smart meter assets, along with theft detection, maintenance, and fault-finding on non-communicating sites.
If you have in-date CMA1/CCN1 and MET1 qualifications (or equivalent), proven dual fuel metering experience, and a desire to further your expertise through specialist training, this is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected and forward-thinking company.
Duties and Responsibilities

Install and exchange smart meters in residential and commercial properties.

Detect and prevent theft of metering equipment.

Carry out ongoing maintenance and emergency call-out work.

Perform fault-finding on non-communicating sites and resolve issues efficiently.

Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations in every task.

Deliver exceptional customer service, explaining smart meter functions and offering energy efficiency advice.

Undertake further specialist training (3-Phase & CT, Medium Pressure, Locksmith services).
Qualifications
Experience Level: Skilled Professional — not an entry-level role.
Education Requirement: CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 qualifications or a Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering (must be current and valid).
Required Skills:

Proven dual fuel smart metering experience.

MOCOPA authorisation and/or Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering.
