Job Overview
Engage, part of Marston Holdings Limited, is a leading provider of technology-driven field services. We are looking for a certified and experienced Smart Dual Fuel Metering Technician to join our team in the Bristol area.
In this field-based role, you will install, maintain, and carry out emergency work on smart meter assets for residential and commercial properties. You will also play a key role in theft detection, ongoing maintenance, and fault-finding on non-communicating sites.
If you hold current CMA1/CCN1 and MET1 qualifications (or equivalent), have proven dual fuel metering experience, and are open to further technical training, this is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and forward-thinking company.
Duties and Responsibilities

Install and exchange smart meters in residential and commercial properties.

Detect and prevent theft of metering equipment.

Perform ongoing maintenance and emergency call-out work.

Conduct fault-finding on non-communicating sites and resolve issues effectively.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Provide excellent customer service, explaining smart meter functions and advising on energy efficiency.

Undertake further specialist training (3-Phase & CT, Medium Pressure, Locksmith services).
Qualifications
Experience Level: Skilled Professional — not an entry-level role.
Education Requirement: CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 qualifications or a Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering (in-date and valid).
Required Skills:

Proven dual fuel smart metering experience.

MOCOPA authorisation and/or Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering.

Skilled in residential and commercial warrant work.
