Job Overview
Engage, part of Marston Holdings Limited, is a leading provider of technology-driven field services and debt resolution solutions. We are looking for a certified and experienced Smart Dual Fuel Metering Technician to work across the Exeter region and surrounding postcodes.
In this field-based role, you will install, maintain, and perform emergency work on smart meter assets for residential and commercial properties. You will also play a key role in theft detection, fault-finding on non-communicating sites, and ensuring all work meets the highest safety and compliance standards.
If you hold current CMA1/CCN1 and MET1 qualifications (or equivalent), have hands-on dual fuel metering experience, and are open to further technical training, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable and supportive team.
Duties and Responsibilities

Install and exchange smart meters in residential and commercial properties.

Detect and prevent metering equipment theft.

Carry out ongoing maintenance and emergency work on meter assets.

Conduct fault-finding on non-communicating sites and resolve issues effectively.

Ensure full compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.

Work on residential and commercial warrants with professionalism.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery.

Undertake additional specialist training in areas such as 3-Phase & CT, Medium Pressure, and Locksmith services.
Qualifications
Experience Level: Skilled Professional — not an entry-level role.
Education Requirement: CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 qualifications or a Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering (in-date and valid).
Required Skills:

MOCOPA authorisation and/or Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering.
