Duties and Responsibilities
- Independently perform high-level administrative and consultative work related to IT Service Management and ITIL Methodology.
- Fulfill the Product Specialist (ServiceNow Admin) position for multiple ITIL-based processes within the platform.
- Define and meticulously document customer business functions and processes to ensure accurate system representation.
- Consult proactively with Process Owners and Managers to identify, define, and document business needs, operational procedures, problems, input/output requirements, and system access levels.
- Administer the ITSM Platform (ServiceNow) to ensure system design meets overarching organizational needs and objectives.
- Participate actively in system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and comprehensive testing of new system functionality.
- Provide technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching staff on ServiceNow functionalities and best practices.
- Promptly escalate issues to management when complex problems arise or require higher-level intervention.
- Configure and maintain critical ServiceNow modules, including ITOM (IT Operations Management), ITAM (IT Asset Management), and SAM (Software Asset Management).
- Perform essential system administration tasks such as user management, access control, and workflow automation.
- Support instance upgrades, patching, and rigorous system performance tuning to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and system errors efficiently, minimizing disruption.
