Job Overview
Elysium Healthcare, a leading provider of mental health services, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our team at Tottlebrook House in Nottingham. This permanent role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, effective, and person-centred nursing care for individuals with complex needs, including those with a learning disability and autism, who may present behaviours that challenge.
As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, while acting as a mentor and role model to colleagues. You will draw on your strong team-working skills, clinical expertise, and naturally caring nature to ensure service users receive the best possible support in a safe and therapeutic environment.
Duties and Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to individuals with a learning disability and autism, supporting complex needs and challenging behaviours.

Undertake the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, ensuring a holistic and person-centred approach.

Mentor, guide, and support nursing and support staff to maintain professional standards and foster teamwork.

Maintain meticulous records, observing and reporting changes in service users’ conditions.

Promote a positive, supportive, and safe environment for both service users and colleagues.

Uphold a commitment to high-quality care, values-based practice, and evidence-based interventions.

Follow all safety protocols, policies, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RMN or RNLD) with current NMC registration.

Experience as a nurse in the NHS or UK private sector, ideally in a similar setting.

Strong clinical and team-working skills.

High level of self-motivation, flexibility, and resilience.

Naturally caring and compassionate approach to patient care.

Enhanced DBS disclosure required.
