As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee core accounting functions including payroll processing, financial reporting, reconciliation, and ensuring full GAAP compliance. You’ll also play a critical leadership role by supervising team members and contributing to strategic decision-making within our finance operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations and month-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness

Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax and labor regulations

Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and reconciliations

Maintain and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies

Utilize and manage accounting systems such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics (NAV)

Oversee and mentor junior accounting staff, providing support and guidance as needed

Perform variance analysis and support budgeting and forecasting efforts

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes

Ensure documentation is organized and audit-ready at all times

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement accounting best practices
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management (with an accounting focus)

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting, preferably in a mid-level or senior capacity

Proficient with QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics (NAV)

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Strong understanding of payroll processing and relevant compliance standards

Excellent knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliation, and GAAP compliance

Experience leading or supervising a team is strongly preferred

Highly analytical mindset with strategic problem-solving skills

Working Conditions
This is a full-time remote position based in Los Angeles, California. You will be expected to work standard U.S. business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM PST), collaborating virtually with finance teams and stakeholders across various time zones. The role requires frequent use of cloud-based accounting tools, secure communication platforms, and digital documentation systems.
