As a Self-Employed Enforcement Agent (formerly known as a bailiff), you will handle a range of field-based responsibilities — from negotiating in challenging situations to managing your own caseload. You will recover monies on behalf of taxpayers, businesses, and individuals through ethical and compliant court order enforcement.
Success in this role requires resilience, confidence, and integrity in a commission-only environment.
Duties and Responsibilities

Manage your own caseload and schedule as a representative of Marston Holdings.

Negotiate with individuals to resolve financial matters and ensure court order compliance.

Handle challenging conversations with professionalism and empathy.

Operate independently in a field-based role covering Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

Adhere to the company’s strict code of conduct and all regulatory requirements.

Maintain accurate and detailed case records.

Use effective negotiation and persuasion skills to reach resolutions.

Complete training to become a Certificated/Licenced Enforcement Agent.
Qualifications
Experience Level: Entry-Level — No prior Enforcement Agent experience required; full training provided.
Education Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong emphasis on professional and life experience.

Previous experience in a self-employed, commission-only, or field-based customer-facing role (preferred).

Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
