As a Self-Employed Enforcement Agent (formerly known as a bailiff), you will take on a variety of field-based responsibilities — from negotiating in challenging situations to managing your own caseload. You will recover debts on behalf of taxpayers, businesses, and individuals through ethical and compliant court order enforcement.
Your confidence, resilience, and integrity will be key to success in this commission-only role.
Duties and Responsibilities

Manage your own caseload and schedule as a representative of Marston Holdings.

Negotiate with individuals to resolve financial issues and ensure court order compliance.

Handle challenging conversations with professionalism and empathy.

Operate independently in a field-based role covering the Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire area.

Adhere to the company’s strict code of conduct and all regulatory requirements.

Keep accurate and up-to-date case records.

Use strong negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve successful outcomes.

Complete training to become a Certificated/Licenced Enforcement Agent.
Qualifications
Experience Level: Entry-Level — No prior Enforcement Agent experience required; full training provided.
Education Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong emphasis on professional and life experience.

Previous experience in a self-employed, commission-only, or field-based customer-facing role (advantageous).

Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
