Lidl, a dynamic and rapidly expanding global retail company, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Retail Shift Manager to join our new East Grinstead Store. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new store launch, taking on a leadership role to ensure smooth operations, exceptional customer service, and a thriving team culture.
As a Retail Shift Manager, you will motivate your team, delegate tasks effectively, and resolve challenges quickly. You will lead store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager, handling critical responsibilities such as freshness checks, cash processes, and inventory management. This is an ideal role for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about team development.
Duties and Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and support your team in alignment with Lidl’s Leadership and Company Principles.

Delegate tasks effectively and resolve operational issues promptly.

Take full responsibility for store operations during your shift when senior management is absent.

Oversee freshness, cash handling, inventory, and stock control.

Provide outstanding customer service, maintaining Lidl’s high standards.

Drive your team to achieve store targets in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications
Experience Level: Proven leadership experience with a track record of achieving targets in a fast-paced retail or similar environment.
Education Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with strong emphasis on leadership and hands-on experience.
