Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain meticulous installation plans for lithography machines at customer sites.
  • Monitor visitor preparation status and drive efficient material process flow for installations and service.
  • Periodically install HMI (Human-Machine Interface) equipment, perform critical upgrades, and execute system relocations.
  • Utilize the established escalation process (2L Tech Support, applications, 3L Global Support Center) with clear and concise technical communication.
  • Advise customers effectively on actions to correct system malfunctions, providing expert guidance.
  • Interface daily with external customers, providing training, answering technical questions, and offering comprehensive technical assistance.
  • Interface regularly with internal customers, including junior and senior engineering teams, and line managers.
  • Provide valuable inputs for improvement proposals based on post-mortems and field observations.
  • Contribute to work preparation through the creation of detailed technical action plans.
  • Be result-driven, consistently demonstrating ownership and accountability for outcomes.
  • Exhibit the ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision, taking initiative in the field.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks and drive improvements within field service processes.
  • Maintain a strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction in every interaction.
  • Complete assignments with exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Demonstrate proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines.
  • Possess open, clear, concise, and professional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Possess the ability to work according to a strict set of procedures within provided timelines.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unaided.
  • Willingness to work more than 50% of the time inside a clean room (wearing appropriate attire).
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally for customer support.
  • Ability to work compressed work week, potential night and weekend shifts to meet customer demands.

Qualifications

  • Experience Level: Mid-Level (Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a relevant technical environment).
  • Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or equivalent combination of education, skills & experience.
  • Required Skills:
    • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or equivalent combination of education, skills & experience.
    • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics in a semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing environment.
    • At least 6 months of experience using MS Office.
    • NPI (New Product Introduction) experience (a plus).
    • Proficient in maintaining installation plans.
    • Skilled in monitoring visitor preparation status and driving efficient material process flow.
    • Experience periodically installing HMI equipment, performing upgrades, and system relocations.
    • Proven ability to utilize escalation process (2L Tech Support, applications, 3L Global Support Center) with clear technical communication.
