Samaritan Health Services is currently seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiologic Tech to join our diagnostic imaging team in Lebanon, Oregon. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiologic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols

  • Ensure optimal image quality while maintaining patient safety and comfort

  • Explain imaging procedures clearly to patients and address any questions or concerns

  • Operate radiographic and digital imaging equipment with accuracy and care

  • Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to support timely and efficient patient care

  • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures

  • Participate in quality assurance efforts, equipment maintenance checks, and department meetings

  • Assist with scheduling, transporting, or preparing patients as needed

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (registry eligible or certified)

  • ARRT RT(R) certification required

  • Oregon Radiologic Technologist license (permanent or temporary) required

  • BLS certification required and must be kept current throughout employment

  • Proficient in medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare safety standards

  • Working knowledge of healthcare IT systems and digital imaging platforms

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment with professionalism and empathy

  • Prior hospital experience preferred
