Job Overview
Samaritan Health Services is actively seeking a qualified and compassionate Radiologic Tech to join our dynamic imaging team in Lincoln City, Oregon. Duties and Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic radiologic procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Operate imaging equipment and process images according to department protocols and physician specifications.

Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures and addressing questions or concerns.

Ensure proper positioning, shielding, and exposure settings for optimal imaging results.

Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA and hospital documentation standards.

Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to deliver timely imaging support.

Adhere to infection control and radiation safety policies at all times.

Assist in maintaining imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions, and ensuring cleanliness and readiness.

Participate in on-call rotations and be available to respond to urgent imaging needs.
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (registry eligible or certified).

ARRT RT(R) certification is required.

Current Oregon Radiologic Technologist license (permanent or temporary).

BLS certification required and must be maintained throughout employment.

In-depth understanding of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, customer service practices, and radiation safety.

Strong communication, time management, and stress management skills.

Ability to adapt quickly in a hospital environment with varying patient needs.

Prior hospital-based experience is preferred but not required.
