Job Overview

As a Product Marketing Lead, you will be instrumental in translating user and market insights into compelling personas, positioning, messaging, and pricing recommendations. You will leverage your extensive experience in product marketing, exceptional storytelling and writing skills, and a keen eye for detail across both marketing and product to drive feature awareness, adoption, and retention. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Guide positioning in the market and tailor messaging across different channels and audiences to maximize impact.
  • Lead product launches, overseeing comprehensive planning, communication, and execution from start to finish.
  • Develop a deep understanding of users, their pain points, values, and how to effectively reach them through various marketing efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date on pricing and packaging dynamics and maintain a strong Point of View (POV) on internal evolution to inform strategy.
  • Track feature awareness, adoption, and retention with a clear plan for growth, leveraging data and analytics tools.
  • Partner closely with marketing and product teams to guide feature highlighting by platform and persona.
  • Build deep cross-functional relationships with Product, Customer Success, and Sales teams, fostering seamless collaboration.
  • Apply 8+ years of experience working on a product marketing role.
  • Be a great storyteller and an exceptionally strong writer, with communication (both written and verbal) as a strong suit.
  • Maintain a consistent practice of understanding the customer (through user interviews or surveys), with an ability to translate user and market insights into personas, positioning, messaging, pricing recommendations, and more.
  • Possess a proven track record of successfully launching products or features in a B2C or B2B environment, including planning, execution, and post-launch.
  • Demonstrate an eye for detail across both marketing and product; dives deep into the product, knowing its ins and outs, to become a more effective partner and marketer.
  • Excel at cross-functional work, building trust with teams across the company, and can bring everyone along, even with competing priorities.
  • Feel at ease with pulling own metrics to measure performance or identify opportunities for feature adoption (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, BI tool).

Qualifications

  • Experience Level: Senior-Level (8+ years of experience).
  • Education Requirement: Relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is typically required.
  • Required Skills:
    • 8+ years of experience working on a product marketing role.
