As a PowerBI Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing critical reports and dashboards that translate complex data into actionable information. You will work closely with business leaders, including VPs and Senior Stakeholders, to understand their needs, analyze large datasets from various legacy systems, and deliver compelling data visualizations. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leverage 3+ years of preferred data visualization experience with PowerBI to design, build, and maintain high-quality reports and dashboards.
  • Apply strong SQL experience to query, manipulate, and extract data from various sources.
  • Utilize 1+ year of preferred Power Apps/Power Automate experience to integrate and automate reporting solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive Report Optimization to ensure fast loading times and efficient performance.
  • Perform in-depth Data analysis to uncover insights and trends from large, disparate datasets.
  • Collaborate with data teams to build new data tables and adjust existing ones to support reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations of reports and findings to VPs and Senior Stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to understand complex business problems and navigate through various legacy systems to extract relevant data.
  • Ensure clear and efficient communication with internal business members across all levels.
  • Write complex SQL queries from scratch to extract and transform data for reporting.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to data quality, repeatability, and sustainability in all reporting initiatives.
  • Proactively monitor the value proposition of reporting/analysis, ensuring delivered solutions meet business needs.
  • Independently identify and conduct analysis to drive change on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Accurately log requests for data, reporting, and analysis, managing workflow efficiently.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in solving problems and making recommendations.
  • Work effectively with large, disparate data sets, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications

  • Experience Level: Mid-Level (Generally requires 4-7 years related experience; 3+ years Power BI preferred, 1+ year Power Apps preferred).
  • Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Information Sciences, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics.
  • Required Skills:
    • Data visualization experience with PowerBI (3+ years preferred).
    • Strong SQL experience.
    • Power Apps/Power Automate experience (1+ year preferred).
    • Expertise in Report Optimization.
    • Proficient in Data analysis.
    • Ability to build new data tables and adjust existing ones.
    • Proven ability to present reports and findings to VPs and Senior Stakeholders.
    • Strong understanding of business problems and experience working through various legacy systems.
    • Clear and efficient communication with internal business members.

Working Conditions
