Duties and Responsibilities

Drive sales and performance of Parkinson’s Disease products within the assigned territory, ensuring a consistent history of successful sales performance.

Apply strong business acumen and proven advanced sales skills to effectively manage accounts.

Communicate complex products and processes simply while overcoming customer concerns.

Navigate complex accounts, including IDNs (Integrated Delivery Networks), Academic Institutions, and hospitals, to drive business.

Utilize in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge specific to Parkinson’s Disease.

Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills in all interactions.

Take individual accountability and ownership of the territory, managing it proactively.

Possess the ability to multitask and solve problems proactively, ensuring efficient operations.

Maintain a high level of patient centricity in all aspects of your work.

Build collaborative partnerships and influence without authority to achieve goals.

Potentially leverage Specialty Pharmacy product, medical device, and/or medication pump delivery sales experience (a plus).
Qualifications

Minimum of 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.

5+ years of Account Management experience in Parkinson’s, Neuroscience, and/or Specialty pharma with high-level performance preferred.

Consistent top performer with a history of successful sales performance.

Strong business acumen and proven advanced sales skills.

Ability to communicate complex products and processes simply while overcoming customer concerns.

History of navigating complex accounts such as IDNs, Academic Institutions, and hospitals.

In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge specific to Parkinson’s Disease.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Specialty Pharmacy product, medical device, and/or medication pump delivery sales experience is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Valid driver’s license required, along with the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.

Must meet all Health Care Industry Representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements.
Salary and Benefits
AbbVie offers competitive compensation for this full-time Neuroscience Account Executive position. Your salary will be negotiable and is part of a comprehensive compensation package that includes a competitive base salary, paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k), and eligibility for short-term and long-term incentive programs.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time, field-based position, with the candidate expected to cover the eastern part of St. Louis, MO, and surrounding areas. You will be on the road for a significant portion of your work week, visiting healthcare providers and key accounts. The role demands strong sales acumen, in-depth scientific knowledge, and excellent communication skills. You will be expected to work independently, manage your own schedule, and collaborate with a matrix team to achieve business goals.
