Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify opportunities and resolutions to enhance sales training programs.

  • Develop and execute training programs for the Hospital Anti-Infectives sales team, ensuring expert-level understanding of the therapeutic area and selling skills.

  • Lead and facilitate training sessions for groups of various sizes and tenure, providing effective coaching and mentorship.

  • Utilize excellent time management, project management, and organizational skills to manage and execute complex training initiatives.

  • Collaborate with sales leadership and other departments to align training content with business priorities.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the therapeutic area, managed markets, and selling skills to provide relevant and impactful training.

  • Develop a keen sense of awareness and emotional intelligence to effectively coach and influence colleagues.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and consistently develop yourself.

Qualifications

Experience Level: Senior-level role, requiring a minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry sales experience and a strong record of top performance.

Education Requirement: A Bachelor’s degree or higher is mandatory for this position.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

  • Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical industry sales experience.

  • Strong clinical expertise in inpatient Hospital sales (preferred).

  • Strong clinical experience in anti-infectives/infectious diseases products (preferred).

  • Top performance in current role (top 50% salesforce performance sustained over time; top 25% preferred).

  • Experience in presenting and facilitating to groups of various sizes and tenure.

  • Experience with successful project development, management, and execution.

  • Expert-level understanding of therapeutic area, managed markets, and selling skills.

  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and influencing skills.

  • Excellent time management, project management, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • High sense of awareness and emotional intelligence.

  • Excellent business acumen, analytics assessment, and critical thinking skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish positive, productive team and enterprise-wide business partnerships.

  • Ability to adapt to changing work dynamics and consistently develop self.

  • Self-motivated with strong accountability to meet deadlines.

Salary and Benefits

AbbVie offers competitive compensation for this Full-time National Field Trainer, Hospital Anti-Infectives position.
