Job Overview
Gi Group, a global recruitment leader, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team, recruiting for GSK in Worthing, West Sussex.
In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will operate automated machines to process multiple pharmaceutical products, monitor production from start to finish, and ensure all documentation is completed to exacting standards. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with current manufacturing experience to contribute to the production of life-changing medicines within a global pharmaceutical organisation.
You’ll need to combine attention to detail with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, following strict safety and compliance protocols.
Duties and Responsibilities

Operate automated manufacturing equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient production.

Monitor the manufacturing process from start to finish, ensuring quality control at every stage.

Work in accordance with strict company guidelines, SOPs, and safety regulations.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation throughout production.

Work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.

Apply your manufacturing knowledge to problem-solving and process improvement.

Perform manual handling tasks of up to 25kg.
Qualifications
Experience Level: Experienced — must have recent manufacturing or production background.
Education Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Skills:

Proven manufacturing experience (pharmaceutical preferred, but not essential).

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.

High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Self-motivated with a proactive work ethic.

Manual handling capability (up to 25kg).
Salary and Benefits
