Duties and Responsibilities

Support the class teacher in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring it meets the developmental needs of all pupils.

Assist with the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote learning and development.

Provide individual and small-group support to pupils, including those with additional needs, to help them achieve their learning goals.

Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and growth.

Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, acting as a key point of support.

Contribute to a hardworking and welcoming team, sharing best practices and collaborating on daily tasks.

Prepare classroom materials and resources to support teaching activities.

Assist with general classroom management, including behavior support and organization.

Report on pupil progress to the class teacher and other relevant staff members.
Qualifications
Experience Level: Experience in Early Years settings is required.
Education Requirement: Level 3 qualification in EYFS, Childcare, or as a Teaching Assistant.
Required Skills:

Holds a Level 3 qualification in EYFS, Childcare, or as a Teaching Assistant.

Experience in Early Years settings, ideally within a primary school.

Is enthusiastic, caring, and eager to be part of a hardworking and welcoming team.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

Salary and Benefits
