Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proficiency with autoverification related to cobas Infinity or other middleware products to design and implement robust solutions.
- Apply extensive experience (3 years minimum) in Healthcare IT or general IT to guide project execution.
- Effectively work independently with minimal guidance, managing project tasks and client interactions.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for consulting with customers and stakeholders, both in-person and remotely, to understand their needs.
- Lead projects from conception, including scope definition, acceptance, and timeline management, ensuring timely approval.
- Meticulously gather and document customer requirements for autoverification workflows.
- Design and implement complex autoverification solutions tailored to specific laboratory needs.
- Collaborate with clients to determine their specific needs and set realistic installation expectations.
- Actively monitor project statuses and ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration.
- Maintain accurate internal tracking systems for project progress and client interactions.
- Perform thorough validation process of IT solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Provide comprehensive follow-up support to ensure product feature adoption and user proficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within Brooksource and with client teams to identify opportunities for improvement and drive innovative solutions.
- Provide valuable feedback to the organization on potential product enhancements and evolving customer requirements.
- Offer guidance on the development of training materials and installation guides for new solutions.
- Provide critical support for both mock go-live and actual go-live phases of system implementations.
- Possess knowledge of the integration of laboratory information systems, analytical instrumentation, and automation systems (preferred).
- Demonstrate the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities (preferred) in a dynamic environment.
- Understand rule algorithms or Boolean Logic (preferred) to design sophisticated autoverification rules.
- Exhibit the ability to work with ambiguity (preferred) and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Possess working knowledge and experience with Roche Middleware product cobas Infinity (preferred).
- Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot complex problems, consult, and drive resolution (preferred).
- Exhibit highly effective communication skills between technical and non-technical groups (preferred).
Qualifications
- Experience Level: Mid-Level (3 years minimum experience in Healthcare IT or general IT; 3+ years product line/Lab Management and/or Supervisory experience preferred).
- Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Medical Technology, Life Sciences.
- Required Skills:
