Duties and Responsibilities

Serve service users, staff, and visitors with food and beverages, ensuring a high level of customer service.

Maintain storage procedures and stock rotation, ensuring food safety and minimising waste.

Ensure that all areas, equipment, and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly.

Be responsible for the department’s cleaning chemicals and equipment, ensuring safe use and storage.

Assist with meal preparation and deliveries, supporting the kitchen team.

Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
Qualifications

Experience in a similar role within a catering or kitchen environment.

High school diploma or equivalent, with emphasis on practical skills and food hygiene certifications.

Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP.

Proven ability to serve service users, staff, and visitors effectively.

Skilled in maintaining storage procedures and stock rotation.

Ability to ensure cleanliness and proper storage of areas, equipment, and furniture.

Experience handling cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.

Capable of assisting with meal preparation and deliveries.

Must pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Salary and Benefits
This part-time, permanent role offers a competitive annual salary of £25.1k (pro rata for 10 hours per week) and a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension scheme and a generous holiday allowance.
