Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils in Key Stage 1.
  • Apply your deep knowledge of the Key Stage 1 (KS1) curriculum to create a stimulating and effective learning environment.
  • Demonstrate a passion for high-quality, engaging teaching and learning.
  • Show a commitment to the development and well-being of every child, nurturing their academic and personal growth.
  • Be a collaborative team player with excellent communication and organisational skills, working effectively with colleagues and parents.
  • Contribute positively to the life of the school, engaging in extracurricular activities and wider school initiatives.
  • Plan and prepare creative lessons in line with the school’s ethos and national curriculum standards.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding pupil progress and well-being.

Qualifications

  • Experience Level: Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers are both welcome.
  • Education Requirement: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Required Skills:
    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
    • A passion for delivering high-quality, engaging teaching and learning.
    • A commitment to the development and well-being of every child.
    • A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
    • Ready to contribute positively to the life of the school.
    • Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 (KS1) curriculum.

Salary and Benefits

This Permanent role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from £33,075 – £52,400, depending on experience.
