Duties and Responsibilities

  • Apply 9+ years of procurement experience with direct responsibility for outsourced engineering services and/or IT to develop and execute comprehensive category strategies.
  • Lead the development and execution of category strategies for outsourced engineering and IT software spend, aligning them with broader company objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and IT leaders to align sourcing strategies with their specific technical roadmaps and needs.
  • Proactively identify, select, and manage suppliers, fostering strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Monitor supplier performance diligently and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance value and efficiency.
  • Lead complex RFPs (Requests for Proposal), contract negotiations, and ensure efficient supplier onboarding processes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to procurement policies and proper risk management for all engagements.
  • Stay current on trends in outsourced engineering and enterprise software, leveraging industry insights to inform strategies.
  • Use industry insights to make strategic recommendations and influence sourcing decisions.
  • Leverage ASML’s procurement systems and tools to manage categories effectively and ensure data accuracy.
  • Support team-wide initiatives and knowledge sharing, contributing to the overall strength of the procurement organization.
  • Apply a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Exhibit strategic thinker capabilities with the ability to translate complex needs into actionable sourcing plans.
  • Possess excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Be comfortable working with senior technical stakeholders and presenting sourcing proposals clearly and persuasively.
  • Utilize proven project management skills; ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel effectively.
  • Possess familiarity with risk and compliance issues in technical services and software procurement.
  • Experience supporting R&D or engineering teams (highly desirable).
  • Strong knowledge of software procurement models (on-prem, SaaS, AI tools) (preferred).

Qualifications

  • Experience Level: Senior-Level (9+ years of relevant procurement experience).
