Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health risk assessments to identify client needs and potential health concerns

  • Develop and deliver personalized wellness coaching sessions focused on lifestyle improvement and disease prevention

  • Lead individual and group fitness training programs tailored to diverse client abilities and goals

  • Educate clients on wellness dimensions including nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and sleep hygiene

  • Monitor client progress and adjust fitness and wellness plans accordingly

  • Provide excellent customer service by creating a supportive and motivating environment

  • Maintain accurate client records and prepare reports using Microsoft Office tools

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate fitness and wellness strategies into overall patient care

  • Stay current with health, fitness, and wellness trends to continuously enhance service quality

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Health, Fitness, or related field preferred

  • Nationally accredited Personal Training certification is mandatory

  • Proven experience as a personal trainer or health-fitness specialist (mid-level experience)

  • Strong knowledge of lifestyle diseases and multiple wellness dimensions

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting

  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to handle multiple clients and programs

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster client engagement and motivation

  • Commitment to professionalism and ethical standards in healthcare and fitness

Working Conditions
