Duties and Responsibilities

  • Control and drive P&L performance as a strategic business partner for ASML’s Brion and HMI business units.
  • Coordinate crucial financial performance review processes, including monthly reviews, budget cycles, long-term plans, and dashboard reporting.
  • Manage and develop a high-performance finance team, fostering growth and accountability.
  • Lead target setting initiatives and drive progress of sales, cost improvements, and product development efforts.
  • Support the definition of both product and business strategy, providing financial insights and challenges.
  • Oversee the coordination, preparation, and communication of P&L and supporting analysis, conclusions, and recommendations to various stakeholders.
  • Provide clear insight into progress on main drivers for meeting targets, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Support and challenge product management with realistic business cases, ensuring financial viability.
  • Analyze and challenge volume price agreements, providing critical input to the sales deal structuring team.
  • Provide insight and drive progress on the product development roadmap and cost-down initiatives.
  • Develop and inspire a strong finance team, promoting continuous learning and excellence.
  • Ensure intensive collaboration with various sectors, business insights teams, and business line control teams.
  • Participate in and/or lead cross-sector/Business Line finance improvement projects, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvements in reporting and financial processes.
  • Perform complex ad-hoc business analyses to support strategic initiatives and problem-solving.
  • Apply 8+ years as a senior controller of a business unit, demonstrating executive-level financial leadership.
  • Possess the ability to connect people, negotiate, and challenge effectively at various levels in the organization.
  • Maintain an overall business view (full P&L) with comprehensive knowledge of various sectors influencing Business Line (BL) results.
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop a long-term strategy and balance between long-term and short-term results.
  • Possess CPA/MBA (preferred) credentials, indicating advanced financial acumen.

Qualifications

  • Experience Level: Executive-Level (8+ years as senior controller).
  • Education Requirement: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required, with CPA/MBA preferred.
  • Required Skills:
    • 8+ years as a senior controller of a business unit.
    • Ability to connect people, negotiate, and challenge at various levels in the organization.
    • Overall business view (full P&L) with knowledge of various sectors influencing Business Line (BL) results.
