As a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will be instrumental in supervising and supporting a team of operatives, leading by example in the full range of grounds maintenance duties. You’ll use your experience with a variety of equipment and your strong leadership skills to ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with contractual requirements. Duties and Responsibilities

Lead by example, supporting, and supervising a team of operatives.

Perform a full range of grounds maintenance duties, including grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, and shrub maintenance.

Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with contractual requirements.

Work outdoors in all weather conditions, demonstrating physical fitness and resilience.

Use a range of equipment and hand tools safely and proficiently, including strimmers, backpack blowers, and push mowers.

Ensure a safety-conscious mindset is maintained at all times, upholding all safety protocols.

Work effectively as part of a busy team, providing a high-quality service to clients.

Perform day-to-day maintenance and safety checks on all equipment.

Liaise with customers, reporting any enquiries or defects to ensure excellent service.
Qualifications
Experience Level: This role is for a professional with essential experience in a similar Grounds Maintenance position, with a preference for prior supervisory experience.
Education Requirement: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, with a strong emphasis on practical, hands-on experience and relevant training.

Hold a full valid UK Driving License with no more than 6 points.
