As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be instrumental in delivering essential services like mowing, strimming, and hedge pruning. Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality grounds maintenance services, including mowing, strimming, and hedge pruning.

Liaise with customers and report any enquiries or defects to ensure excellent service.

Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and work logs.

Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times.

Carry out day-to-day maintenance and safety checks on all equipment.

Work outdoors in all weather conditions, demonstrating physical fitness and resilience.

Use a range of equipment and hand tools safely and proficiently, including strimmers, backpack blowers, and push mowers.

Work effectively as part of a busy team and provide a high-quality service.

Proactively identify and report any defects or issues with equipment or grounds.
Qualifications:

Experience Level: Experienced in a similar Grounds Maintenance position.

Education Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent is typically preferred.

Required Skills:

Full valid UK Driving License

Experience in a similar Grounds Maintenance role

PA1/PA6 qualification is preferred but not essential

Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Willingness to learn & open to training

Safety-conscious mindset

Proficient with equipment such as strimmers, backpack blowers, and push mowers

Team player with a high standard of service

A standard DBS check dated within the last 6 months (or willingness to obtain one) is a huge benefit
