Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including service, kitchen, staffing, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction

  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members and shift leaders to support a high-performance culture

  • Manage budgetary goals including labor costs, food costs, and operational expenses

  • Monitor Profit & Loss statements and implement strategies to improve financial performance

  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards

  • Maintain inventory control systems, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships

  • Create and manage labor schedules to optimize productivity and cost-efficiency

  • Handle guest issues professionally and promptly to ensure outstanding customer service

  • Use software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and labor/inventory management systems to drive operational performance

  • Report directly to regional leadership with regular updates on progress, performance, and goals

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of restaurant experience, with at least 3 years in a General Manager role

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Hospitality strongly preferred

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams in a high-paced environment

  • Strong understanding of financial reports, including Profit & Loss and labor metrics

  • Experience with hiring, training, and developing staff

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with familiarity in scheduling and inventory systems

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on leadership approach

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
