Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and improve mechanical systems to enhance efficiency, reliability, and performance across ASML facilities.
  • Apply 8+ years of experience in facilities engineering with a focus on mechanical systems in a high-tech or manufacturing environment.
  • Utilize strong expertise in HVAC, DI water, process water, chillers, boilers, and heat exchangers.
  • Leverage experience with gas and liquid distribution systems, including piping, valves, and control systems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent) for design and analysis.
  • Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting and maintaining critical facilities systems.
  • Develop and refine comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance programs for mechanical assets.
  • Design, maintain, and optimize distribution systems for process gases and liquids to support manufacturing needs.
  • Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Coordinate effectively with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams (e.g., EHS, Production).
  • Ensure all mechanical systems strictly comply with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ASHRAE).
  • Support sustainability initiatives related to energy efficiency and resource optimization in mechanical systems.
  • Assess current mechanical system capacities and conduct detailed planning for future growth and expansion.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for mechanical infrastructure.
  • Maintain detailed records of system designs, performance data, maintenance activities, and project updates.
  • Prepare clear and professional reports and presentations for management.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be available for occasional travel to support projects or troubleshoot system issues across sites.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Exhibit excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification (preferred).
  • Benefit from experience in high-tech manufacturing, such as semiconductor or pharmaceutical industries (preferred).
