Samaritan Health Services is currently seeking a dedicated and dependable Dietary-Culinary Aide to join our food service team in Lincoln City, Oregon. Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in preparing, portioning, and plating meals according to dietary specifications and safety standards.

Serve food and beverages to patients, visitors, and staff with a focus on courtesy and efficiency.

Set up and maintain cleanliness of food stations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment.

Follow proper food handling procedures, including temperature control and sanitation.

Stock supplies, label food items, and assist in inventory as directed.

Maintain accurate records as required by department procedures and health regulations.

Communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff regarding meal preferences or dietary needs.

Support teammates during peak hours or special events and adapt to changing tasks as needed.
Qualifications

Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, slicers, etc.).

Strong customer service skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced team environment.

Effective time management and multitasking skills.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Oregon Food Handler Certificate required within 30 days of hire.

Prior food service experience is a plus, but not required training provided.
