As a Data Governance Analyst, you will be instrumental in defining key data elements, curating and cataloging HR data, and implementing robust role-based security measures. You will work closely with both IT and business stakeholders to resolve data-related issues, design data standards, and ensure strict compliance with data governance strategies. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide direct assistance in the data management, governance, and data quality of HR master data.
  • Define key data elements for HR specific templates and collaborate closely with IT to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Meticulously curate and catalog HR data elements to maintain a comprehensive data inventory.
  • Implement role-based data security leveraging HR business requirements and IT design support.
  • Create and maintain essential documentation, including data lineage and data flow diagrams.
  • Actively participate in the support of data governance program strategies, roadmaps, and project plans.
  • Collaborate effectively with IT and business stakeholders to implement data policies and procedures.
  • Proactively identify data-related issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
  • Design, develop, and implement robust data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity and quality.
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all data governance activities.
  • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also contributing seamlessly as part of a collaborative team.
  • Potentially utilize experience with Oracle Human Resources, Immuta, Alation, and Databricks.

Qualifications

  • Experience Level: Mid-Level (Minimum of 4 years relevant experience required, with 3 years preferred in specific areas).
  • Education Requirement: Bachelor Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Required Skills:
    • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience required, with 3 years preferred in Data governance, Oracle HCM, and/or Databricks.
    • Proven ability to assist in data management, governance, and data quality of HR master data.
    • Experience defining key data elements for HR specific templates and collaborating with IT.
    • Skilled in curating and cataloging HR data elements.
    • Experience implementing role-based data security leveraging HR business requirements and IT design support.
    • Capability to create and maintain documentation (data lineage, data flow diagrams).
    • Active participation in the support of data governance program strategies, roadmaps, and project plans.
    • Strong collaboration with IT and business stakeholders to implement policies.
    • Proven ability to identify data-related issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
    • Expertise in designing, developing, and implementing data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity and quality.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Software Experience (Requested): Oracle Human Resources, Immuta, Alation, Databricks.
