Job Overview
Gi Group, through our specialist division Tack TMI, is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Client Relationship Manager to lead the growth of our apprenticeship programmes across the UK.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic employer partnerships, guiding clients from first engagement through to contract completion. Your expertise in apprenticeship levy funding and compliance will allow you to advise, influence, and deliver tailored solutions that make a measurable impact on workforce development.
This is a mid-to-senior level position suited to professionals with proven success in account management and business development within the apprenticeships or work-based learning sector.
Duties and Responsibilities

Drive the expansion of apprenticeship programmes through new and existing employer partnerships.

Develop and implement a targeted client engagement and pipeline plan.

Act as the primary contact for employers, delivering expert advice and relationship management.

Promote apprenticeship solutions to decision-makers across target markets.

Manage the complete client lifecycle — from prospecting to contract negotiation.

Collaborate with internal delivery teams for smooth onboarding and learner support.

Track activity and progress using CRM systems (HubSpot) and internal reporting tools.

Represent the business at events, webinars, and industry forums to build presence and gather market insights.

Ensure all work complies with apprenticeship regulations and quality standards.

Partner with the marketing team to convert leads and maximise campaign impact.
Qualifications
Experience Level: Mid–Senior — significant experience in apprenticeship/work-based learning required.
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, education, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
