Duties and Responsibilities

Perform general haulage duties as a Class 1 Night Driver, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently.

Adhere to all working time directives and driver rules.

Complete vehicle defect checks and maintain accurate logs to ensure road safety.

Work to strict deadlines, ensuring all deliveries are completed on time.

Maintain a clean and organized cab.

Communicate effectively with the depot and logistics personnel regarding schedules and any issues.
Qualifications
Experience Level: Minimum of 12 months’ experience driving an HGV in the UK, demonstrating strong practical skills.
Education Requirement: Class 1 HGV licence, full in-date CPC, and digi-tacho card.
Required Skills:

Class 1 HGV licence with at least 12 months UK experience.

Full, in-date CPC and digi-tacho.

Strong understanding of working time directive and driver rules.

No more than 6 points on licence (No DR, DD, or IN codes).

Proven ability in general haulage duties.

Salary and Benefits
This role offers a highly competitive hourly wage of £19.05 – £23.54 per hour, including advanced holiday pay.
