Samaritan Health Services is seeking a skilled and patient-centered Cath Lab Tech to join our collaborative team in Corvallis, Oregon. Duties and Responsibilities

Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.

Prepare patients and equipment for procedures while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot specialized cath lab equipment and imaging systems.

Maintain sterile techniques and manage supplies required for procedures.

Document procedure details in electronic health records, following HIPAA and hospital standards.

Monitor patient vitals and support emergency interventions as needed.

Provide patient education and emotional support throughout the procedure.

Collaborate with nurses, technologists, and physicians to ensure efficient workflow.

Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency procedures when necessary.
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) program.

Registered as a CVT or RCIS, with CCI certification required within 6 months of hire.

BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.

At least 1 year of hospital-based Cath Lab or Angiography experience is preferred.

Strong understanding of medical terminology, patient safety protocols, and HIPAA compliance.

Excellent communication, adaptability, and stress-management skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, procedure-driven environment.

Proficient with healthcare information systems and documentation standards.
