As a CAMHS Clinical Service Manager, you will ensure safe, effective, and responsive clinical care for young people. Leveraging your background as a Ward Manager, relevant nursing qualifications, and proven leadership skills, you will foster a positive culture, drive clinical excellence, and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the operational, strategic, and financial day-to-day running of the CAMHS service.

Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and responsive clinical care.

Oversee rota planning and staffing to maintain optimal coverage.

Respond promptly to referrals, ensuring timely patient admissions.

Drive and embed effective clinical practice and a positive working culture.

Collaborate with other managers and support Acute services when required.

Enforce HR policy compliance and resolve concerns efficiently.

Maintain dashboards for accurate and transparent reporting.

Supervise and appraise staff, supporting professional growth.

Conduct audits and monitor action plans for continuous improvement.

Ensure daily clinical operations run smoothly.

Uphold and monitor clinical standards in line with best practices.

Promote a culture of learning from incidents and adverse events.

Keep patient care plans current, person-centred, and recovery-focused.

Maintain accurate records in compliance with GDPR.

Provide concise ward-to-board reports for leadership teams.

Handle complaints and investigations in a timely manner.

Maintain compliance with CQC and Safeguarding requirements.

Ensure high clinical visibility and act as a role model for staff.
Qualifications

RMN/RNLD qualification (Registered Mental Health Nurse / Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities).

Previous experience as a Ward Manager in a CAMHS setting.

Proven ability to manage operational, strategic, and financial aspects of services.

Salary and Benefits
